NEW indie folk Mp3 store

My friends at Sideways Through Sound (Australia) have just opened up a truly independent Mp3 store, which features much of the wonderful psych/experimental/prog/roots folk they feature on the show.

Hopey is already up, & soon Hobgoblin's Hat...but there is soooo much amazing music on this site, I hope you'll have a look around & support underground folk!

Tonight on Flyweight : 07-23-2009-new tracks from upcoming album "Hobgoblin's Hat"

Tonight on Flyweight : 07-23-2009

This evening on Flyweight we are going to take it down a few notches - it's cloudy, i still have sand in my hair from the Beachcomber and its been a fade-away-and-radiate kinda week. To honor this, we'll be playing Ghost, Jessica Baliff, Six Organs of Admittance, Islaja, Hope Sandoval, Boduf Songs, Speck Mountain, Sunray, Bobb Trimble, Bark Psychosis. We'll hit up some new music in the form of Mere Mortals, Nightmare Air, Stardeath & White Dwarfs and God Help The Girl.

Our featured Artist of the Week is Providence based Allysen Callery. We'll spin tracks from her debut, Hopey, and a couple for her soon to be released Hobgoblin's Hat. Tune in at 6PM for the Artist of the Week.

Flyweight spins shoegaze, dreampop, psych, spacerock, postpunk, noisepop, and other fuzzed out bliss every Thursday from 5:00-7:00 PM (EST) on 90.3 FM in Boston or online at www.wzbc.org and on iTunes.
